Centre Ados Riviera offers a remote specialist opinion (concilium) from a consultant in orthopaedics and traumatology, for musculoskeletal conditions in adolescents.
What the concilium covers
Specialist opinion on acute conditions (sprains, fractures, dislocations, tendon injuries) and chronic ones (tendinitis, joint instability, bone deformity, post-traumatic sequelae), based on the file and imaging provided.
Guidance towards the right treatment: physiotherapy, occupational therapy, advice on posture, daily habits and sport.
Where a highly specialised opinion or treatment is required (scoliosis, hip dysplasia, tumour) or surgery is indicated, the patient is referred to the appropriate specialist or referral centre.
How to request it
Requests come from paediatricians, general practitioners and first-line therapists, using the form below. Please attach any imaging and reports already available: the quality of the opinion depends on them.
